The story of Luna

Built one idea at a time.

From Wolf_AI to an agentic assistant with voice and a connected home.

Spring 2023

A first idea during an unusual moment.

On 31 March 2023 ChatGPT was temporarily restricted in Italy. Vlad had already seen GPT-3.5 in videos and wanted to understand what made it possible. At 12 years old, he began experimenting with the OpenAI API.

Wolf_AI

A chatbot in a terminal.

Wolf_AI had no memory and almost no abilities. It moved from a terminal to a website, but the experience was not good enough. Closing it established a rule Vlad still follows: simple, direct and carefully considered UX.

OpenClaw

Luna finds her personality.

With better development tools and a personal NovaX hosting server, Luna became an agent on Telegram and WhatsApp. She learned to fit naturally into private chats and groups, follow jokes and participate instead of sounding like a command line.

Luna on Raspberry Pi

A school smart-home idea becomes a voice assistant.

The brief only asked for a smart-house concept. Vlad built more: realtime voice, web research, actions and a small display for weather, timers and useful context. The original Raspberry Pi eventually failed after overheating, but the product direction was clear.

Luna for Android

The assistant becomes a complete product.

Luna moved to Android, gained an overlay, live video, phone actions, full text chat, memories, friends, groups, image and video generation, and Luna Home. The Raspberry Pi returned as Luna Hub rather than being the only place where Luna could live.

June 2026

Autopilot moves toward the desktop.

Luna Autopilot began as a cloud workspace experiment. It is now being redesigned for desktop, where local projects, terminal access, files and developer tools make more sense.

The story keeps moving.
